Eleven Didsbury House Wedding
Grab a brew, settle down and enjoy having a nosy at this beautiful Eleven Didsbury Park Wedding in Manchester. Jen and Yaz’s wedding motto was CHILL. They knew they wanted a really relaxed, informal day with their closest friends and family. On a winter walk, just three weeks after they got engaged in New York, the couple were passing by Didsbury House, popped in, had a chat with the wedding planner and booked! They loved the chilled out feel of the venue and the gorgeous garden at Eleven Didsbury House Hotel. It might have been hard to imagine what it would look like when they headed out on a cold December day. But on the day of their wedding we were treated to the most beautiful, late summer weather and their snap decision to pop into their venue certainly paid off!
I arrived at Eleven Didsbury House on the day of the wedding and headed to the bridal suite where both brides were getting ready side by side surrounded by friends and family. The staff at the hotel were busy setting up the tables in the garden for the wedding breakfast. I absolutely LOVED the couple’s New York theme. A nod to where they got engaged. The Friends themed order of service were brilliant. I knew we were going to be in for a really wonderful, sunny day and everyone was excited with the anticipation of it!
More of Yaz and Jen’s family arrived at Eleven Didsbury Park and it was lovely that the girls had the time to have a drink and natter with a few of their nearest and dearest before the wedding ceremony. Before long it was time to have a little wander up the street to the sister hotel – Didsbury House Hotel, where the wedding ceremony was taking place. Both hotels are really beautiful so having the option of using them both on your wedding day is fantastic.
Wedding Reception at Eleven Didsbury House Hotel
After the ceremony and a spot of enthusiastic confetti throwing, the newlyweds and their guests made their way back to Eleven Didsbury Park for the reception. The weather was absolutely glorious and Jen and Yaz had made sure there were plenty of time in the schedule to allow them to spend lots of time with their guests. The garden at Eleven Didsbury House is big enough for everyone to enjoy and guests were enjoying the sun loungers, grabbing a coffee from the coffee van the couple had hired or playing some of the lawn games in the sunshine.
I took the opportunity to sneak Yaz and Jen away for some portraits in the garden of just the two of them. In a relatively small area there’s so much choice for pictures! These two were absolute naturals in front of the camera and we captured some lovely informal portraits during this time.
Wedding Breakfast at Eleven Didsbury House
As the sun started to set, the guests took their seats in the covered patio – there was a real holiday feel to it. Jen and Yaz had chosen to provide their guests with a BBQ rather than a formal sit down meal which was the perfect vibe for their relaxed wedding day. After some hilarious speeches it was time for dancing!
I had such an awesome day with these two at their Eleven Didsbury Park Hotel Wedding so it’s a real pleasure to be able to share a few of my favourite images from this day.
