Wyresdale Park Wedding

Wyresdale Park in Lancashire is officially one of my favourite wedding venues in Lancashire. It’s absolutely beautiful and perfect if you’re looking for barn wedding venue up north. Emma and Adam knew that Wyresdale Park was the perfect fit for their wedding day. As big outdoorsy folks and dog lovers, the natural relaxed surroundings at Wyresdale ticked all their wedding boxes – and doggo Daley loved it too! The couple chose a picnic theme for their wedding day which fit in perfectly with the surroundings. Emma used her creative skills to make sure that the wedding looked beautiful whilst minimising all that unnecessary waste – they choose living plants as centrepieces so they could be planted in their own garden after the wedding day which I think is just perfect!

Bridal Prep at Wyresdale Park

I joined Emma and her girls at the house at Wyresdale for bridal prep whilst my assistant Jodie headed to the onsite glamping pods onsite (perfect for your guests to stay in!) where Adam was getting ready with his groomsmen and family. The day was rainy and dull but it didn’t put a damper on anyone’s mood! The house is really spacious and is a great space for getting ready on the morning of your wedding. Lots of lovely natural light in the bedrooms makes for beautiful photographs!

Wyredale Park Wedding Ceremony

It was soon time to head over to the barn for the wedding ceremony. Emma and Emma had chosen a civil ceremony on site and when you see the space you can understand why. The ceremony room at Wyredale Park is a beautiful space – light and bright and with plenty of room for guests. It still keeps that lovely barn feel too. Adam and Emma are big dog lovers so it’s no surprise that their furry friend Daley was in attendance at the wedding ceremony too. I do love a dog – friendly wedding!  Adam was waiting nervously at the end of the aisle with Daley.  Emma strolled across to the wedding barn and before long it was time for the wedding ceremony to begin.

After the ceremony the guests headed out for confetti and drinks. It was a showery summer day and the weather was hit and miss. But that’s no problem at Wyresdale Park – the venue has a great covered area perfect for drinks when the weather isn’t playing ball. There’s even a tractor – for the kids (big and small) to have a ride on.

During a quick break in the rain I pinched Adam and Emma away to explore some of the beautiful grounds at Wyresdale Park and there’s so many spots to choose from! Even on a rainy day there are so many little nooks and crannies for your wedding photography. Emma and Adam were totally naturals in front of the camera!

Huge congrats to Emma and Adam on putting together this awesome wedding day and thank you for inviting me along to capture it. More weddings at Wyresdale Park please! Here’s a little selection of some of my favourites from the day.
