A Snowy Wedding in Lancashire
After Adam proposed to Lauren on Christmas Eve, it’s no surprise that the couple opted for a winter wedding. They chose the Higher Trapp for their big day and surrounded with their friends and family they set out to make it a beautiful Christmas wedding to remember! As soon as I met these two I wanted to be a part of their wedding – they are super lovely and infect everyone around them with laughter. I knew we’d have a great day.
So much planning and attention to detail went into wedding planning. Lauren was the brain’s behind all the beautiful crafty ideas and Adam made them come to life. Turns out he can turn his hand to DIY when needed! I absolutely loved all the rustic winter decor the couple choose!
I joined Lauren with her mum and bridesmaids at the Higher Trapp on the morning of the wedding and not long after I arrived the snow started. Could you ask for anything more perfect on a winter wedding day!?! The snow got heavier and heavier throughout the day and amazingly as soon as the ceremony stopped the snowflakes started coming down in huge flurries. Some couples would shun the idea of heading out in a blizzard but not Adam and Lauren – they had wellies at the ready and we dashed out to make the most of the beautiful snowy backdrop.
After the portrait session we headed back inside where Adam and Lauren had the chance to spend some time with their guests before they sat down for their wedding breakfast.
The whole day was absolutely perfect from start to finish and we loved loved loved spending it with Adam, Lauren and all their lovely friends and family.
