Lancashire Wedding Photographer – Winter Wedding at the Spread Eagle
Well Heather and David’s wedding day was PERFECT! A gorgeous country pub, beautiful flowers, a crack team of wedding suppliers, touches of Harry Potter (which always makes me happy) and the most glorious winter sunshine. It’s a delight to share their full wedding on the blog with you today.
You meet Heather and David and you know immediately that they are a relaxed and chilled out – no fuss kind of couple. So a country pub wedding was the perfect setting for them and as soon as Heather and David walked into the Spread Eagle in Sawley, they knew they’d found the spot! Nestled in the Ribble Valley, by the side of the river, a hop skip and a jump from the beautiful ruins of Sawley Abbey and with spectacular country views from every window. Not to mention delicious food!
The couple put together a dream team of wedding suppliers to help them put their day together –
Heather: “Sam and Lou have been fantastic throughout. They both really got the vision and made the whole thing stress free.
Flowers by The Flower Shop Clitheroe
Heather: Charlotte from the Flower Shop got our vision straight away and her idea to reuse the ceremony flowers for the reception meant we could make our budget go further too!
Bride’s Dress – Ava Rose Hamilton
It was the families second visit to Ava Rose, as Heather’s sister found her wedding dress there 3 years ago. So Heather decided to put her trust in the staff again and they didn’t disappoint!
Here’s a few of my favourite images from this beautiful winter wedding. Thank you to my second photographer Jodie for being my right hand woman on the day!
“We booked Rachel for our wedding at the Spread Eagle Sawley Wedding Page, and she was amazing!
We decided to book a pre-wedding shoot which was the perfect preparation for the day. We were instantly at ease with Rachel and her style of photography and also got to get our beloved border collie, Lassie, in on the shoot too!
When the wedding day came Rachel started the day with my Bridal preparation and was with us right until the night.
Rachel captured elements of the day that we’ll treasure forever!
We would highly recommend Rachel!!” Heather and David.
