Liverpool Wedding Photographer – Wedding at the Liver Building
I’m putting this out there – I’m in love with the Liver Building! What a treat to be invited to photograph a wedding at this spectacular wedding venue in the heart of Liverpool city centre. The interior of this building is just amazing and the venue rooms are clean and bright and modern and just perfect for weddings. Chris and Jodie’s wedding was the perfect introduction to this iconic wedding venue. A romantic tale of two cities, a blustery winters day and an absolutely delightful couple. Jodie and Chris brought together their family and friends for a beautiful Christmas wedding.
Guests battled the wind to get to the venue and were treated to a performance from Water Brass Band who had travelled down to Liverpool for the occasion. The boys looked dapper in navy blue and the bridesmaids were fabulous in beaded jumpsuits – I love this look for a winter wedding! The wedding ceremony took place inside the Liver Building with the backdrop of the Mersey and a beautiful Christmas tree added some festive cheer. Family and friends looked on as the couple exchanged their vows and even Nanna got to watch via Skype!
I loved Chris and Jodie’s choice of room decor – lots of reds and sparkle and wintery loveliness set off by a beautiful naked cake.
The wind defeated our attempts at many outdoor portraits – poor Jodie was literally being blown away – the only downside it seems of a wedding at the side of the Mersey. But that didn’t stop us using the great interiors for some shots.
As the night progressed the new Mr and Mrs McGreevy and their guests took to the dancefloor and danced the night away. You know it’s time for some serious moves when the Vivienne Westwoods are discarded!
Big, huge, massive congratulations to the newlyweds. Thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer.
