A Stylish Wedding at West Tower – Wedding Photography Lancashire

Suzie and Jonny returned home to Lancashire to tie the knot. It wasn’t a difficult decision. After meeting at college aged 16, these two have been inseparable. A move to London after finishing university was the next step in their adventure. But coming home to get married would always be on the agenda.

Long distance wedding planning isn’t always easy and like lots of couples Suzie and Jonny had to rely on the magic of the internet to find most of their wedding suppliers – including me! During our first few emails I heard about their plans and the love of their life – Gus the French Bulldog! You know that you’ve found the right couples when they send you pictures of their dog! In fact instead of the pre-wedding meeting in my studio we headed to the park with the dogs to run through the plans. Bertie my cavapoo has suggested that all future meetings take place in this manner.

Fast forward to the wedding day and I was welcomed into Suzie’s lovely family home where she was getting ready with her mum and bridesmaid. My second photographer Katie was with Jonny and his family a few miles away. A quick walk around the corner to church in the beaming sunshine and we were ready to get married! After the lovely ceremony we headed out in the sunshine for pictures before the newlyweds and their guests made their way over to West Tower Wedding Venue for the reception.

It was my first visit to West Tower and it most definitely did not disappoint – a gorgeous venue with a beautiful backdrop, friendly staff and delicious food! I absolutely loved how Suzie and Jonny had decorated the reception room – clean, fresh with lots of white.

Massive congratulations to Suzie and Jonny – I absolutely loved being part of your big day. Here’s a selection of some of my favourite images.
