A relaxed navy and blush stirk house wedding
Mel and Rich are busy busy people - working in the emergency services it's often tough to find time together to plan a wedding. That's why having a fun and relaxed day was top of their priorities. The couple wanted to spend their day in places that meant a lot to them, surrounded by their friends and family.
I joined Mel in the morning at the couples home where she was getting ready for the big day surrounded by family and friends. IT was soon time to head off to the nearby church where Rich was waiting nervously at the bottom of the aisle. It was a really moving church ceremony, surrounded by all Mel and Rich's family and friends.
After the ceremony we headed over to Stirk House for the reception. I love Stirk House - it's such a great venue. The staff are amazing and the grounds are beautiful. We even managed to sneak out and explore the woods and get some amazing sunset images. The evening was topped off with a visit from Rich's workmates. I admit - there's something to this men in uniform thing!
After the sun went down we made the most of the dance floor action as the band played. The dance floor was absolutely bouncing! There were some serious shapes being thrown.
