wedding photographer lancashire - shireburn arms wedding
I love a country pub wedding and this wedding certainly lived up to expectations. Kirsty and David planned a beautiful, rustic inspired wedding at the Shireburn Arms, a lovely relaxed venue in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire. It's hard to believe, looking at their images, that the wedding took place in the middle of March - we were so lucky to have beautiful summer weather. Kirsty had put an amazing amount of effort into decorating the venue, handmade bunting, decorated vases, a gorgeous handmade table plan and flowers everywhere. The bridesmaids looked amazing in short lavender dresses and definite mention to the Groom and his groomsmen who looked particularly dapper in tweed waistcoasts and bow-ties. Then of course, the bride herself in a gorgeous grecian styled dress.
I joined the girls for prep in the beautiful bridal suite with views across the Ribble Valley. It was a lovely, super relaxed atmosphere with the bride doing her own hair and make up. We headed down to the light and airy ceremony room for a really lovely ceremony before the guests headed out in the garden to take full advantage of the sun.
Like lots of couples Kirsty and David were a little anxious about having their photographs taken, but these two were total naturals in front of the camera and it didn't take much direction from me to get some really lovely images of the two of them. We were treated to a beautiful sunset so we headed back out with Kirsty and David after the meal for more pictures.
Huge congratulations to Kirsty and David on tying the knot. Big thank you to the staff at The Shireburn Arms who did such a wonderful job on the day and who looked after us brilliantly. Thanks also to Lauren - Jo of LJK Photography for assisting me on the day and getting some beautiful images.
