Lancashire Wedding Photographer - a winter samlesbury hall wedding
I've got a lovely Lancashire wedding to share with you today. Michael and Nicola tied the knot at Samlesbury Hall a few weeks ago. A lovely ceremony surrounded by their nearest and dearest - many of whom had travelled long distances to be there. I loved getting to know these two a little bit over their wedding planning journey. We had so many giggles on their engagement shoot and I knew the wedding would be just the same. Nicola looked jaw dropping in a beautiful vintage inspired dress and watching Micheal getting choked up as she walked down the aisle had me on the brink of tears too! Huge congratulations you lovely pair - I'm sure you'll both agree that it was worth the 18 year wait!
Nicola and Michael definitely didn't want to go overly traditional for their big day. They are travellers and foodies and appreciate beautiful architecture so the venues for the wedding definitely had to tick those boxes.
Samlesbury Hall is of course an absolutely beautiful venue and provided a great spot for friends and family to gather for the ceremony. Nicola arrived with her Mum, whilst Michael waited anxiously at the end of the aisle. The couple personalised their wedding ceremony by asking friends and family to say readings. After the ceremony we all headed out into the grounds to take advantage of the beautiful settings for some pictures.
Guests enjoyed drinks and canapés in the great hall at Samlesbury before we headed off to location number two - Northcote manor - where the newlyweds and their lucky guests were to enjoy the amazing food on offer.
Huge congratulations to this lovely pair. Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your day.
