Owen House Wedding Barn – Cheshire Wedding Photographer
Ready to see this beautiful winter wedding? Owen House Wedding Barn is one of my favourite Cheshire wedding venues because it’s just so bloody flexible no matter what the weather! Bex and Vin had chosen this cracking venue because it fit so perfectly with their vision of a relaxed and informal day. They didn’t want anything too traditional and they definitely wanted to put their stamp on every aspect of the day and Owen House let them do this.
I joined Bex and her bridesmaids at Owen House in the morning. They have this great bridal prep area which is huge, light, bright and absolutely perfect for getting ready in. Bex’s beautiful Charlie Brear wedding dress was hanging in the corner and her gorgeous flowers had just arrived too. There were a few moments of emotion when Bex’s Dad arrived.
Before long it was time to take that very short journey through the barn to the wedding ceremony area where Vinny was waiting nervously for his bride to arrive. The couple were surrounded by their friends and family for the ceremony. Again Bex and Vin had chosen to go off grid for their wedding ceremony. Instead of choosing the usual civil ceremony the couple had hired the very lovely Maxine Beech – a humanist celebrant. This meant the whole ceremony was JUST ABOUT THEM. Including having a toast of shots at the beginning of the ceremony. Amazing.
The rest of the day was just as relaxed and chilled out. Guests enjoyed drinks in the barn whilst we snuck Bex and Vin away for some portraits in the barn – it’s such an amazing area to photograph in!
I really loved this wedding and I’m so pleased to be able to share some of my favourite images from this beautiful wedding.
