A Mitton Hall Wedding – Lancashire Wedding Photography

It was a proper Northern love affair that brought lovebirds Sarah and Iain back home to get married at the very lovely Mitton Hall.  After meeting as teenagers the couple have lived their life and shared adventures and have settled down in London but coming home was always on the agenda for the big day. After falling in love with Mitton Hall, Sarah set about planning the wedding decor to fit with the gorgeous venue. The whole theme of blush pinks, navy and tiny touches of rustic worked beautifully!

I always really enjoy photographing weddings at Mitton Hall – the beautiful building and gardens mean you’re spoilt for choice for pictures and the staff are absolutely wonderful. I arrived in the morning to join Sarah and her girls for bridal prep. The sun was shining and that lovely feeling of excitement and anticipation was in the air!

The couple chose to have the full day at Mitton Hall so it was only a short walk down the stairway to the ceremony in the beautiful and light orangery. After the ceremony we headed out into the sunshine for drinks, canapés and fun. For a little while we whisked Sarah and Iain away from their guests to take advantage of the lovely grounds for some pictures.

Huge, huge congrats to Sarah and Iain and ever huger thanks for choosing me to capture your big day.  I loved spending the day with you both and your lovely friends and family. Here’s a selection of some of my favourite images from your day.
