Manchester wedding photographer – a northern quarter engagement shoot
I BLOODY LOVE THESE TWO! Evey and Ric were super keen to have a engagement shoot before their big day. Loved up as they are, they’ve never really been in front of the camera before. With the wedding day fast approaching it was time for us to get together in one of the couple’s favourite spots for an hour of chatting, laughing and taking some pictures!
We met in a Northern Quarter bar, where Ric was having a pint or two to settle the nerves! Manchester is a very special place to Ric and Evey. Scene of many happy date nights, days out and time spent with friends and family. Ric already had some specific ideas about where to go on the shoot and we headed off into the city to get some pictures.
These two had nothing to worry about – they are so completely loved up and happy that it made my job as their photographer very easy. I don’t do posed images. I want authentic pictures of my couples. I can help that along with some gentle guidance and experience of working with couples. I know that I can make even the most nervous and anxious couples feel more relaxed in front of the camera.
I loved this session and loved working with Evey and Ric. We had so many giggles as we wandered around Manchester’s Northern Quarter and I knew we were going to get some incredible shots of the two of them.
Their wedding day took place at Ashfield House in Lancashire and was one of the most emotional and romantic wedding days I’ve been a part of. If you’d like to check out their wedding you can see it here. Here’s a selection of my favourites from their engagement shoot. If you’re interested in an engagement shoot please get in touch.
