Good lord look at these two beauties! Lyndsey and Becky first got in touch with me about their wedding day a year in advance. I'd never shot a same-sex wedding before so I was really excited. Even more so once I'd had chance to meet them and find out about their story and the big day. A winter wonderland day was being planned.

Two brides means two sets of bridal preparations in the morning. I headed off to the couple's home, that they share with a menagerie of furry pets and Becky's two sons. My second photographer Stuart headed over to the hotel to meet Lyndsey and her bridesmaids. Although the couple had kept their wedding dresses secret from one another they had planned different but complimentary bouquets - using similar flowers in both. Becky looked amazing her wedding dress topped off with a cosy knitted shawl.

We headed to the venue where both brides were walked down the aisle - it was seriously emotional! After a lovely ceremony, guests tucked into canapes and drinks whilst we whisked Becky and Lyndsey outside for some portraits.

The hall has been decorated in a beautiful festive themed decor in whites and silvers - glitter, snowflakes and all things sparkly! It was a perfect winter wonderland. Becky's mum had even made individual pots of christmas chutney as a favour for each wedding guest.

After the meal more friends and family arrived to celebrate the big day with the couple and they danced the nights away with their guests. The dance floor was bouncing!

Big congratulations to Becky and Lyndsey on your beautiful day - we absolutely loved spending it with you and your lovely friends and family. Here's a small selection of some of my favourite images from your big day.
