Creative Wedding Photography at Hyde Bank Farm in Manchester

I’m super pleased to share Nick and Meg’s wedding day with you on the blog today. Every wedding day is very special of course, but their’s even more so, because it landed on the 6th anniversary of their first date! After a roller coaster of wedding planning the day dawned bright and beautiful for the big day. I knew we were in for a really lovely day. I’d met Nick and Meg twice in the run up to the wedding and they were just the nicest couple. Their engagement shoot in Avenham Park was basically just us having a walk and a giggle. These two are so besotted with each other – it just makes my job so easy!

I was really looking forward to photographing at Hyde Bank Farm – it’s been on my wish list for some time. It’s a beautiful little venue, tucked away at the end of a lane, just outside Stockport. You feel like you’re in the middle of the countryside. It was the perfect choice for Meg and Nick’s rustic inspired wedding day. The couple chose the venue because of it’s surroundings and rural charm. In fact they felt in love with it straight away and knew it was the only venue for them.

I joined Meg and her bridesmaids at a nearby hotel whilst my second photographer Kathryn joined Nick and his best man at Meg and Nick’s home. I love the prep part of the day. It’s a great opportunity to get to know everyone a little better. As Meg donned her gorgeous  Maggie Sottero dress, there was barely a dry eye in the room!

The ceremony took place at Hyde Bank Farm and afterwards we were able to go and make use of the beautiful grounds. Luckily for me Meg and Nick were so comfortable in front of the camera and made my job very very enjoyable – they smiled all day long!

Massive congratulations newlyweds – thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer. It was a beautiful and relaxed wedding and I’m so pleased to have been able to capture it for you.

Big thanks to Hyde Bank Farm and their staff for looking after us and to Kathryn from Delicious Photography who was my right hand woman on the day.

Here are some of my favourite images from the day.
