Just a few short weeks before their big day, I met with Rachel and Vicky close to their Cheshire home for a pre-wedding photoshoot. Both girls were feeling a little anxious about being in front of the camera on the big day so a practise session was the perfect way to ease those nerves. They needed have worried though – these two were complete naturals!
Most couples I work with feel a little bit camera shy. But at the same time they know they really, really want some beautiful images of the two of them on the wedding day. If you feel like this, don’t worry – I’m here to hold your hand, guide you through it and make it a little less painful. It’s really important for me to capture some beautiful and natural images of the two of you on your wedding day. And I’m the one who will work hard for it – you just have to enjoy spending some time together!
Rachel, Vicky and I had a little wander around their local park, grab some lovely images and have a chat about how wedding plans were coming along. the couple have chosen to tie the knot at the very lovely Owen House Wedding Barn. It’s a brand new venue for me and I’m really looking forward to shooting a wedding there and seeing how Rachel and Vicky’s plans come together next month.
As for these two, well they smashed it of course! After a few minutes in, I could tell most of the nerves had started to fade and they were becoming more and more relaxed in front of the camera. We ended the session in a field full of long grass and wild flowers with some beautiful evening light.
Rachel and Vicky – can’t wait for the big day!
