A Cheshire Engagement Shoot

I am really excited about photographing Janine and Oliver’s upcoming wedding. When we first chatted on the phone about their plans I could tell they were a couple I was really going to enjoy spending the day with them. Janine and Oliver have recently made the move up North with their twins to be closer to family. When they started planning their big day the first decision was the venue. They soon decided upon the beautiful Oaktree of Peover in Cheshire. What a gorgeous venue it is.

Janine and Oliver decided to have an engagement session to get them ready for the big day. They were total naturals in front of the camera, which makes my job very easy! After taking advantage of some of the pretty lanes and backdrops in the Cheshire village where we met we all headed off to visit the venue.

The Oaktree of Peover is wow-pretty! It’s rustic and light and modern all at the same time. I’m literally squeeing with excitement about the actual day. We spent a little time chatting through their plans, where I of course took more interest than is actually necessary in all the chat about flowers, bunting, ribbon and decoration. These two are planning on some wonderful touches to make their big day memorable. I can’t wait to share the final images with you.

We wandered around the venue and I scouted out some lovely spots for photographs – not really difficult at this venue as it’s all round beautiful. The pond, the meadows, the little paths and that beautiful flower arch which I bet will look even more lush in a few weeks time.

Janine and Oliver – I’m so looking forward to your big day. In the meantime, here’s a selection of my favourites from the pre-wedding shoot.
