To quote someone from the wedding. These two are so in love it’s disgusting. I was so excited to be their wedding photographer. I just love an outdoor wedding so I was so excited when Ashlie and Phil first contacted me to tell me about their plans. Despite having studied in Preston, this was my first visit to Avenham Park and what an absolutely cracking venue for a wedding. I should shout about it everywhere – for couples looking for a relaxed and modern venue with something that little bit different then this could definitely be the place for them .Ashlie and Phil had arranged a gorgeous, laid back day in the grounds of Avenham Park which really reflected them as a couple. Think sunshine, music, champagne, matching purple Converse and a smattering of wedding crafts and you can understand why this day was so enjoyable.
A very emotional outdoor ceremony took place in the Belvedere and Ashlie and Phil tied the knot in front of all their friends and family. Phil’s beautiful son, Xavier performed his duties as ring bearer perfectly. Following the ceremony the guests were treated to a champagne drinks reception in the park before I snook the bride and groom away for their portraits. We were absolutely spoilt for choice for locations in the beautiful park and we were even able to get out again in the evening for some creative back lit images.
Following speeches, champagne and lot of laughter, the couple danced the night away with their friends and families.
Massive congratulations to the newlyweds and thank you for inviting me along to be your wedding photographer – it was such a pleasure to be a part of your day. It wasn’t an easy task to choose my favourite images but here they are.
Big thank you to Lauren of LJK Photography who came along to assist me on the day.
