Thornton Manor Wedding – Cheshire Wedding Photographer

I’ve been itching to share this gorgeous Thornton Manor wedding with you. Kate fell in love with Thornton Manor whilst wedding venue hunting with a friend. The thing was – she hadn’t met Gary at that time! Thankfully, a little while later the magic that is internet dating brought them together. Kate almost didn’t go on the first date – imagine! But thankfully fate played a hand, the couple hit it off and the rest as they say is history. After Gary proposed in Milan (romantic!!!!) the couple headed back to Thornton Manor and thankfully Gary loved it just as much as Kate.

The wedding day arrived and we headed to Thornton to meet Kate and her bridesmaids for prep. The weather was definitely being very English! One moment, glorious sunshine and the next torrential rain! This lovely pair didn’t let it get stand in the way of having a great day! Thankfully the interior of Thornton is equally as beautiful as the exterior so we were spoiled for choice for pictures. After a gorgeous ceremony we headed into the hall for drinks and to give Kate and Gary a chance to chat to their guests before we pinched them off to explore the lovely grounds around Thornton Manor.

These two were such naturals in front of the camera and we got some great, relaxed portraits of just the two of them before heading back to the party.

Huge congratulations to Kate and Gary on their wedding day – thank you for inviting me to be a part of it. It was lovely to meet you all and your lovely friends and family. Here’s a selection of some of my favourite images from the day. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to watch the highlight slideshow.
