Abbeywood Estate Wedding – Wedding Photography Cheshire
What an absolute treat this wedding was to be a part of. Grace and Oscar chose the amazing Abbeywood Estate in Cheshire for their big day. It’s a stunner! Definitely a new entrant on my list of favourite wedding venues. I can understand why Grace and Oscar fell in love with it immediately.
The couple had their heart set on an outdoor wedding ceremony and thankfully the weather gods were kind to us. Grace and Oscar were able to say their vows in front of all their friends and family in the walled garden area. Oscar’s mum played the piano and Grace’s mum gave a lovely reading. It was a pretty special family affair!
After the ceremony all the guests headed out into the BEAUTIFUL grounds at Abbeywood for drinks and canapés and chats. I love this time of the day – when the new bride and groom get to say hi to all their loved ones. After a little while we snuck Oscar and Grace away from everyone to take advantage of those beautiful gardens for photographs. You are literally spoilt for choice for spots for photographs.
If you’re a reader of my blog you’ll know I’m a massive massive book addict. So I was in book heaven when I saw Grace and Oscar’s choice of wedding decor and favours. Stacks of old books on the table and a book for every single guest. What made this even more special was that Grace had taken the time to choose a book that meant something to every guests. It was probably the best reaction I’ve ever seen to favours – each and every guest exclaimed with delight about the book they’d been given. Triumph!
Massive congratulations to Grace and Oscar – thank you so much for inviting me to capture your day. It was beautifully done! Here’s a few of my favourite images from your wedding.
