A Stylish Winter Wedding at Sparth House – Lancashire Wedding Photographer
Genevieve and Andrew planned the perfect day – it started with style, grace, dinner jackets and amazing flowers and ended with a glitter party, sparklers and beer pong. What’s not to love.
Andrew and Genevieve fell in love with Sparth House’s homely feel and decided to make it their home for their wedding day. They brought their own beautiful styling to the whole day. The boys looked super swish in their dinner jackets and the red flowers throughout the bouquets and table settings were perfect. The lanterns on each table were a nod to the romantic engagement which took place in Marrakech.
I joined the bride and her bridesmaids in the bridal suit at Sparth house for prep whilst my assistant Jodie headed over to a nearby hotel to meet with Andrew and his groomsmen. Before long it was time to take the short journey over to the church in Great Harwood. It’s such a beautiful hidden gem of a church with gorgeous light streaming through the stained glass windows. Andrew was waiting nervously for Genevieve to arrive!
After the ceremony we were treated to a little bit of winter sunshine which allowed Genevieve and Andrew to greet their guests in the sunshine outside church before everyone headed off to Sparth House for drinks and chats. Genevieve and Andrew had put so much thought into their day that there was so much to keep people entertained. A smashing band, glitter tattoos and prosecco pong!
We had soooooo much fun with these two! Thank you for choosing me to capture your big day. Here’s a few of my favourite images from the day.
